JER, born in 2005 from the combination of an experienced horse-riding instructor, a mechanical engineer and a fashion designer, the idea to realize and develop an innovative stirrup, capable of combining major performance with at the same time a modern and attractive design. Today Jer has transformed stirrup-irons from a purely functional object to a competitive technical sport complement, which are at the same time classy, due to their elegant and sobre design.
The light-weight of the top quality aluminium, the correct fit given by the wide tread and excellent grip, combined to the well balanced proportions offer major security, sensibility and comfort to riders. These factors, along with the wide vaiety choice of colours and personalizations determine a growing appreciation and diffusion of Jer stirrups, not only by joung riders but by expert riders as well.
Jer proposes, through it's range of colours which includes the possibility to “mix and match” catalogue colours between the arch and tread, colour as a form of emotional expression of the riders style and harmony with the horse and the horse-wear. The personalizations with country flags and name engravings of the rider, the horse, team, riding club, association etc., along with other customized options add a distinguished originality to complete the look.
Jer in constant evolution, in 2009 anticipated the Nations Line, with the Italian flag colour stirrups, in view of the 150th anniversary in 2010 of the Italian Union, and due to the success encountered of these stirrups decided, last year, to introduce other country flags stirrups, including the Union Jack colour stirrups, ideal for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
