Sunday, 19 May 2013 19:00

Nacho Figueras Copyright of The Polera Ltd Nacho Figueras broke his hip this weekend while playing polo at Cowdray Park Polo Club in England, ruling him out of playing at this week's highly anticipated Gaucho Polo tournament held annually at the o2 Arena in London.

Nacho was due to captain the Argentine team at this week's Gaucho Polo tournament, as he has done for the last two years. His injury will see him unable to play now for probably the rest of the English season as he will be out for at least six to eight weeks while he recovers from his injury. Andrea Vianini has been announced as Nacho's replacement at Gaucho Polo tournament this Tuesday 21st May 2013.

Last weekend saw him play in the charity polo match to raise money for Sentebale with Prince Harry in the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA.

The Polera wish Nacho a speedy recovery and a quick return to playing polo.
